Glad to be back at it!

Amped to be back home dreaming, working and praying as God leads us into this next season of ministry. Thankful for my sabbatical, but even more thankful for the “Word of the Lord” concerning myself and Momentum as God ministered to me during my break. Now it’s time to work out all that God is leading us into. Hearing without doing results in fits of passion and renewal personally, but nets nothing lasting for the life of the pastor or the church.

God is up to something wonderful but will we as a lead team and church be stirred to action and diligently labor both physically and spiritually to see what God is stirring become a reality? Momentum….through the power and leading of the Holy Spirit we can do this! May Christ be known in us and through us.

I also want to take a moment to thank my staff and our Executive Advisory Team for leading so well during my break. Average attendance was higher in July than in June and the testimonies of things God was doing in people’s lives were amazing. I should leave more often 😉

Finally I want to thank our Georgia District Assemblies of God Superintendent, Rick Collins for encouraging me to take this time away and for financially making our time away possible. It is wonderful to partner with the GA AG. I have been blessed to be a part of the Assemblies of God cooperative fellowship since 1994 and honored to plant a church in one of the greatest districts in our nation.
